Plastics Direct is a 100% Australian-owned, independent operator using three decades of digital and supply-chain experience to drag the plastics industry into the 21st century.
At Plastics Direct, we set out to fix something that was clearly broken. The way plastics are sold across Australia and New Zealand stacks importers, distributors and resellers between the factory and the customer - and every layer takes its margin. The end result? Tradies, fabricators and engineers pay double or triple what the same product costs at the mill.
We started Plastics Direct as an independent operator with manufacturing infrastructure already in place. We spent months on the ground in China - visiting more than 100 factories, vetting their quality systems, auditing their export experience and locking in direct supply relationships.
The result is a factory-direct supply platform purpose-built for Australian and New Zealand customers. Online quoting, transparent pricing, container-share for smaller orders, and full door-to-door delivery - backed by an Australian-owned operations team you can actually pick up the phone to.
