Nylon Sheets, Rod & Tube in Australia

Engineering plastic for bushes, gears and wear parts.

Cast and extruded Nylon (PA6, PA66, MoS2-filled and oil-filled) is the go-to engineering plastic for replacing bronze, steel and brass in mechanical wear applications. We import full pallets of nylon rod, sheet and tube direct from the mill - saving Aussie and Kiwi machinists a fortune.

Why factory-direct nylon

Cast & extruded grades

Cast nylon for large sections, extruded for tighter tolerance and consistency.

Oil-filled for self-lubrication

MoS2 and oil-filled grades eliminate the need for greasing in moving parts.

High mechanical strength

Replaces metal in many applications at a fraction of the weight and cost.

FAQs

Nylon - frequently asked questions

Cast nylon is the right pick for large blocks, oversize bushes and gears (lower internal stress, less crazing on heavy cuts). Extruded nylon holds tighter tolerances on smaller diameters and is more cost-effective for high-volume turned parts.
MoS2-filled and oil-filled grades are self-lubricating - they eliminate the need for greasing on bushes, slide pads and gears in service. That's huge for food and pharmaceutical equipment, and for any moving part in a remote or dusty environment.
In many wear and bushing applications, yes. Nylon weighs a fraction of bronze, runs quieter, doesn't seize and costs significantly less. Strength and temperature limits matter - send your load and temperature spec with the quote and we'll confirm.
