PTFE Sheets, Rod & Tube in New Zealand

The non-stick king for chemical and high-temp work.

PTFE (Teflon®) handles temperatures from -200 °C to +260 °C, resists virtually every chemical known and has the lowest coefficient of friction of any solid material. Our factory-direct PTFE supply lets engineers, chemists and food manufacturers stop paying inflated distributor pricing.

Why factory-direct ptfe

-200 °C to +260 °C

The widest service-temperature range of any plastic - handles cryogenic and high-heat work.

Universally chemical-resistant

Inert to almost all acids, solvents and bases - no other polymer comes close.

Lowest friction

Coefficient of friction of just 0.05 - naturally non-stick without coatings.

FAQs

PTFE - frequently asked questions

Virgin PTFE handles -200 °C to +260 °C continuously - the widest range of any plastic. Filled grades (glass, carbon, bronze) extend wear resistance and mechanical strength at the expense of slightly reduced chemical resistance.
Chemical processing, food and pharmaceutical manufacturing, semiconductor fabrication, aerospace fluid handling and any application requiring near-universal chemical resistance, the lowest friction of any solid, or non-stick performance without coatings.
Standard PTFE is virtually impossible to bond or weld because nothing sticks to it - that's the point. Etched PTFE (one face chemically treated) is available for bonding to gaskets and laminates. For welded joints, switch to PFA or FEP.
